Welcome to Naylor & Naylor’s launch collection of bench made, luxury Italian leather accessories and jewelry, a collection that reflects our European-American heritage and love of travel, fashion, art and design.

Since early childhood, we have had the good fortune to travel, by reason of our parent’s and our own careers, entwined in the golden age of transatlantic flight (more on that in other journal posts!) We’ve never tired of the excitement and adventure of it all as we continue to explore new and revisit old destinations. In fact, it was during one of our beloved annual expeditions to Italy that Naylor & Naylor was born.

Blaith, Our Mother

Our beautiful, stylish mother was born in the 1920’s in the West of Ireland, spending her childhood between the lovely countryside of County Clare on the Atlantic coastline, and the bustling city of Limerick with its port on the Shannon River.

She was the second youngest of six children, who, with her four brothers egging her on, was somewhat of a tomboy, riding horses, climbing trees, swimming and playing a number of other sports, including, field hockey, tennis and golf.

Grace, Our Grandmother

Our stubbornly independent paternal grandmother, Grace, was born in the last years of the 19th century, into a family of comfortable means living on beautiful Washington Square in New York City. One of eight girls and one boy (her beloved brother, Worthington (aka “Waddy”), she was always a restless child who felt greatly confined by the strict rules of upbringing to which young ladies of that era were expected to adhere.
